YU President CHOI Oe-chool and faculty members visited the Yeongcheon National Cemetery on the 4th to pay tribute ahead of Memorial Day this year.
On this day, a delegation of about 20 people, including President CHOI Oe-chool and key faculty members, paid homage at the Memorial Tower to honor the sacrifices of the patriotic martyrs and heroes. YU has been visiting the Yeongcheon National Cemetery every June to practice the spirit of patriotism and veterans' affairs.
President CHOI Oe-chool said, "Today’s Korea exists thanks to the sacrifices of the patriotic martyrs and heroes. We will do our best to develop Korea, which has been protected with such precious sacrifices, and to cultivate glocal talents who will lead future generations."
